The Business Analyst is a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between business needs and technology delivery.
Responsible for developing business requirements and related business rules based on business group needs.
Actively involved in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of functional requirements across related cloud computing applications such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services and Salesforce.com.
Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions for internal teams to build on.
Evaluates approaches for integration of cloud applications into other enterprise systems and applications.
Defines and documents business and functional requirements for client’s business processes, applications and data through interviews, workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures.
Provides expertise and input in helping the team make right decisions on implementing business requests.
Acts as bridge and facilitator between stakeholders, SMEs and development teams across regional and business lines to evaluate feasibility of fit of the proposed solution leveraging on global best practices.
Conforms to standard software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies to ensure projects and maintenance activities are documented and deployed on time and on budget.
Proactively reviews current landscape for more business opportunities
Ability to conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
A Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
3-5 years’ experience working in business applications implementation, preferably CRM and cloud computing implementation.
Knowledge in across industry based processes and best practices are advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively and confidently with users, team members and management.
Must be flexible and willing to undertake a wide variety of challenging tasks.
Strong facilitation skills. Must be able to elicit requirements from various personalities across organizational and geographical boundaries.
Proven experience at driving consensus across multiple stakeholders.
Process driven analysis skills and a background in various requirements elicitation methods.
